A business license from Storyblocks includes a royalty-free license written directly to your organization, with coverage for multiple users and unlimited use of assets for worldwide distribution in perpetuity. Our Business license also covers distribution for use of our assets in broadcast, TV, streaming / OTT, feature films, education, print, multimedia, games, merchandise, and the internet. How is a business license different from an individual license?
Storyblocks’ business license is different from our individual license in that it’s written to your organization (compared to an individual user), provides coverage for multiple users, covers more indemnification (US$1 million vs US$20k), gives you broader distribution use cases (includes broadcast, TV, streaming / OTT, and feature films, which the individual license does not), perpetual use of assets after your subscription ends, and coverage for multiple YouTube channel IDs. Yes, Storyblocks offers indemnification coverage for business customers – for Storyblocks for Business clients, we offer up to US$1 million in indemnification.
What will happen to assets I’ve downloaded if my Storyblocks for Business plan ends?
If your Storyblocks for Business plan ends, any assets you’ve downloaded will remain covered by your license in perpetuity, so you can use them in new projects. Any projects published with your downloaded assets before or after your plan ends will remain covered forever.
Can teams collaborate using Storyblocks?
Yes, teams can easily collaborate using Storyblocks by sharing folders, working together in Maker for Teams on video projects, and utilizing admin controls to manage the users in your account. We can also provide seats for multiple users for every organization so that everyone on your team who needs access is able to log in to your businesses’ Storyblocks account.
What support is included with a Storyblocks for Business plan?
With a Storyblocks for Business plan, you’ll get dedicated support from our Customer Success Team, including onboarding, along with flexible invoicing, billing terms, and licensing terms as needed.
Is there AI-generated content in the Storyblocks library?
No, the Storyblocks library does not have any AI-generated content. Our zero generative AI content policy means we do not accept any submissions of AI-generated assets into our library – so all of our stock assets are 100% human-made. There are a few important differences between the Storyblocks for Business plan and the Small Business plan, including:
The size of your company – Our Small Business plan is only available to companies with less than 50 employees
The industry your company is in – The Small Business plan is not available to agencies or production or broadcast companies
The number of users you need – The Small Business plan covers one employee, Storyblocks for Business covers multiple users at an organization
Indemnification – The Small Business plan offers up to US$20,000 in indemnification, while Storyblocks for Business offers up to US$1,000,000 in indemnification
Distribution use cases – The Small Business plan covers commercial use and worldwide distribution for educational, print, multimedia, games, in-store merchandising, and the internet, while Storyblocks for Business covers all of those plus broadcast, TV, streaming / OTT, and feature films
Perpetual use of downloaded assets – Anything created or published during your time under our Small Business plan will stay covered in perpetuity, but once your subscription ends, you cannot publish any new content using previously downloaded Storyblocks assets – for Storyblocks for Business users, you can continue using downloaded Storyblocks assets even after your subscription ends and everything will remain covered in perpetuity under your license
YouTube whitelisting – The Small Business plan covers one YouTube Channel ID, Storyblocks for Business covers multiple YouTube Channel IDs
Support and Admin controls – Storyblocks for Business gives you administrative controls for your account and a dedicated account manager for support that are not included with our Small Business plan
